I think life might have got to me. I took it upon myself to dig out my armada of wrestling figures and live out the dream of ticking off wrestling figures on a chart. I assume this is a normal thing people do?

I wanted to make something that didn’t need a bunch of extra stuff - Unity seemed like total overkill, and I fancied learning more. Enter JavaScript. JavaScript appealed to me as it’s pleasing to iterate repeatedly and not wait five minutes to learn I made a mistake. I also liked that JSON would play nicely without any thought on my part.

This was all meant to just keep me amused while I couldn’t sleep, but it got out of hand.

Here’s a link to a github page. The source code etc is on Github pages if anyone wants to point and laugh at it! :) It’s telling that I’m more concerned about my lack of JavaScript ability rather than the glaring issue of why I decided to that staying up to catalogue my collection of wrestling toys was a good use of my evenings this week.

It’ll be helpful for a save system if I ever make a game! :) It did feel a bit like managing a roster of wrestlers for some sort of Wrestling Booking Simulator…
